The Priority Ambulance Leadership Foundation offers leadership and educational programs for individuals and communities to benefit from our commitment to the future of EMS.
Our EMS Leadership of Tomorrow Program is designed for individuals currently working in the EMS profession and for individuals outside the industry who have a strong desire to develop long-term, EMS leadership careers. The program provides an intensive training experience delivered in four modules over the course of a year at various locations throughout the country.
We believe that completing several industry-specific, supplemental education courses prior to beginning the EMS Leadership of Tomorrow program best prepares candidates for the rigors of our advanced executive leadership program. These supplemental courses included Ambulance Service Manager (ASM), Certified Ambulance Coder, and National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System training. It is preferred that candidates have already completed one or all of these courses; however, we will consider candidates who have not completed the supplemental education. If selected, candidates must complete the supplemental courses in the first quarter of the new year. The Foundation covers all costs related to these additional courses.
The Priority Ambulance Leadership Foundation also is committed to providing public education programs to communities, schools and civic organizations. Through our Community Education & Outreach Program, we coordinate resources and training in areas such as public access defibrillation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and citizen first aid.
